| Fin Installation
When installing your SUNSET/MT cavity box fins, Start with the board bottom side up. Make sure the fin cavities are free of debris, remove the mounting screws from the fins before insertion. Install fin by placing the back of the fin into the cavity first (1) and then rocking the front down (2). Fins should fit snugly. |

| Flip board over so that it is deck side up. If necessary, hold fin into box when rotating board so that it doesn’t fall out. Install mounting screw through hole in deck and into fin. Tighten securely. Repeat these steps for each fin. | |||||||||||

| The 5'6", 7'2" and 8'0" SUNSET softboard are equipped with three equal size fins. The 9'4" and 10'10" SUNSET have a larger center fin. | |||||||||||
| Replacement fins and Screws The MT cavity box fins that are in your SUNSET softboard are only available through your SUNSET softboard retailer. For safety your SUNSET softboard is equipped with flexible fins, as your waveriding skill improves you may want to upgrade to hard fins which create better performance. Should you loose your fin screws we strongly recommend that you get authentic screws from your SUNSET softboard retailer. But, if you are in a location away from a retailer and need screws to surf that day, you may be able to find temporary replacements at a hardware store. Make sure to get “stainless steel, M6 x 20mm thread” hardware to prevent rust, corrosion and potential damage to your board. |
